Imagine Thailand was founded by PAOC Global workers, Peter and Cavelle Dove, in the aftermath of the Boxing Day Tsunami that devastated Thailand in 2004. Their focus has always been on connecting two extremes of Thai society - university students with the education needed to initiate transformation, and marginalized communities with great needs. Imagine Thailand is a bridge between these opposite ends. We believe that those who have society’s permission to bring change can do just that—catalyze change, make a meaningful difference in their world, and bring transformation to local communities and society. UCM is partnering with Imagine Thailand because we want to join their efforts as community contributors, adding value to the local community by improving the quality of life, so that all can experience renewal and transformation in joining God’s mission for our world.
